Powerpoint Mate GPO Template

I’ve put in a few GPOs in my time. Not a heap, mind you, just a few data points here and there. What I didn’t know was there was an easy way to do it. You can use a template. I found this out recently when working with Steve from Powerpoint Mate

Introducing Powerpoint Mate, the sparkies best friend

This thing you see above, is the green GPO (general purpose outlet) template from Powerpoint Mate. To use it you hold it up against the wall, use the bubbles to make it level, then you trace out the inside of the template. Cut that out and you end up with  a perfect hole to install your power or data points.

Once you’ve inserted the C-shaped frame that holds your and screwed in your frame, you can then use the levels to make sure it is completely level before you tighten the bolts.

The how-to video from his website (shown below) demonstrates how to use it.

Steve has recently launched a new website to sell these templates. I’ve been helping him set up the shop and fine-tune the site ready for launch. You can now buy the Powerpoint Mate direct from his website
