Compro have a great range of IP cameras. In my last blog on Compro cameras I posted a video on the IP70. It’s a great camera that gives excellent video and audio quality  at a good price as well as decent night vision.

I have embedded the video below to show you how it looks. My Compro IP70s give a nighttime picture quality similar to what you see below in IR LED mode.

The only area I felt the Compro could improve was when viewed on my phone. I could browse to the camera’s website and that gave me decent quality but was a bit clunky. I recently discovered an App for my Android-based phone that circumvents all that.

The Android App is called IP Camera Viewer. It is completely compatible with the Compro IP 70 and allows me to monitor my cameras at the touch of a button.

To get the app just search for “IP camera viewer” in your Android marketplace. Set up is easy, just give it IP and login details.
